The study sets out the infrastructure implications of development on six potential strategic development sites in North West Leicestershire focused on the Leicestershire International Gateways.
It includes an identified site for a new residential development of up to 5200 dwellings to the east of Worthington extending towards Belton and Osgathorpe and incorporating Cloud Wood currently designated as ancient woodland. UPDATE: Latest news is that Belton, Osgathorpe and Cloud Wood housing proposals have been found by the NWLDC to be "not currently suitable, not available and not potentially achievable"
