Our request to Leicestershire County Council for a footpath on Rempstone Road between Top Rd and Elder Lane has once again been turned down.
We have been informed that it 'does not meet the current criteria for County Council intervention when compared to other areas within the county which have a much higher rate of accidents and where speeding was a primary factor'
